With over three decades dedicated to bridal couture,, Ellie has devoted her career to creating and perfecting wedding gowns that celebrate each bride's individuality. Her journey began in New Zealand, where she spent decades working alongside respected bridal designers and boutiques, specialising in bespoke wedding gowns, couture craftsmanship and expert bridal alterations.
After relocating to Melbourne, Ellie founded Ellie Atelier with a simple philosophy: every bride deserves genuine one-on-one attention and a gown that fits beautifully in every detail. As a solo atelier, every consultation, fitting, alteration and custom gown is personally completed by Ellie. Nothing is outsourced, and every stitch reflects the same level of care, precision and craftsmanship that has defined her work throughout her career.
Whether creating a bespoke wedding dress from the very beginning or refining an existing gown to achieve the perfect fit, Ellie approaches every project with patience, technical expertise and meticulous attention to detail.
